- Who is eligible to participate in SOAR
Students who have been accepted for admission to Chowan University and have paid their $100 Advanced Tuition Deposit are required to attend SOAR.
- How do I register for SOAR?
Simply select one of the available dates! Submitting your registration automatically registers you for SOAR.
- What should I wear and bring to SOAR?
Casual attire is requested for SOAR. It is encouraged that you bring any final official transcripts for your class registration advising.

10 AM SOAR Kickoff & University Welcome
10:30 AM Student Experience Sessions
10:30 AM Parent Preparation Sessions
12:00 PM Lunch
1:00 PM Group Academic Advising
1:30 PM Academic Advising & Course Registration
Students and families are free to depart after their individual academic advising sessions
After Academic Advising there is the opportunity to complete vehicle registration, enrollment process check-in, and ID pickup.
