Scholarships awarded on this day celebrate leadership within schools, communities, and churches. Here are the three scholarships available:
- Leadership Scholarship
- Valued at $36,000 over four years of continuous enrollment—an award of $9,000 per year!
- Dean’s Scholarship
- Valued at $20,000 over four years of continuous enrollment—an award of $5,000 per year!
- Trustee Scholarship
- Valued at $8,000 over four years of continuous enrollment—an award of $2,000 per year!

Eligibility
Prospective Chowan University students are eligible to attend Scholarship Day if they are accepted for admission as incoming students. To be considered for one of these scholarships, you’ll need to submit a brief application, an essay, and complete an interview. Professional attire is requested for your interview.

Prospective students who have been accepted for admission to Chowan University are eligible to attend Scholarship Day. To qualify for a scholarship, students must complete a brief application, submit an essay, and participate in an interview on the day of the event.
